My haiku poetry reviews in 2025

Written by:

Below are links to my Book of the Week features for the Haiku Foundation in 2025. It sure was rewarding to correspond with the authors and promote their poetry.

All through 2025, we’ve wandered the quiet paths of haiku together. These selections have given us pause, sparked wonder, and sometimes offered comfort in unexpected places. Whether you were drawn to the hush of Peggy Willis Lyles’ Still at the Edge, the courage of Hifsa Ashraf’s Running After Shadows, or the reflections of Kwaku Feni Ado’s Between Two Dates, we hope something in these pages meant something to you.

Below are the books we featured this year—linked by author, waiting to be opened again. If a line stayed with you, if a book felt like a conversation you didn’t want to end, we hope you’ll tell us.

This is my last post for the Book of the Week features.. It has been a great experience to be part of the dedicated THF team and to correspond with such enthusiastic haiku authors and supporters.

Take care amigas and amigos,
Dan
